Oreo is the mascot of this site. He is an orca merman who originally lived near a boardwalk themepark. Though unable to speak to humans, he still mooched various carnival foods from them up until someone alerted the marine research institute.

Since then, he has lived his life in a huge aquarium for study. He isn't available to be viewed by the public thanks to his aggressive attitude and how quickly he learned how to flip off the guests. He is the only mermaid known to be in captivity at the moment, but he has no idea what goes on outside the institute.

Despite his bad attitude, he is constantly begging the researchers for treats.

His favorite food is shrimp tempura.

Shy, short for Shiloh, is a stay at home husband. His hobbies include knitting and fiber crafts, cooking, horror movies, and home decorating.

He is an anxious person who finds it difficult to talk to others. His quiet personality, tattoos, and interest in alternative fashion often intimidates people. He rarely realizes this is the impression he gives. It's easy for him to forget how much bigger he is than other people.

He enjoys cute things as well as horror shows. He met his husband at a horror convention.

His favorite food is chocolate-matcha cake.
